Debris from downed missiles injures 5 people near Vinnytsia
During the extensive Russian attacks on Ukraine on July 26, two Kalibr missiles were shot down in the suburbs of Vinnytsia. Unfortunately, casualties from the downed missile debris were reported, wrote the head of Vinnytsia Regional State Administration, Serhii Borzov.
"Yesterday, at approximately 14:00, two Kalibr missiles were shot down in the suburbs of Vinnytsia. Five people were injured by the debris," wrote Borzov.
According to the head of the regional administration, all the injured received necessary medical assistance, and their lives are not at risk.
"Several economic and technical buildings were damaged. The extent of the losses is currently being assessed," added Borzov.
The large-scale shelling on July 26
On the evening of July 26, Ukraine declared a large-scale air raid alert as Russian forces launched missiles using strategic bombers Tu-95MS.
Shortly afterward, the enemy also deployed hypersonic missiles Kinzhal.
As announced by the spokesperson for the Air Force, Yurii Ihnat, the Russians attempted to target the airfield near Starokostiantyniv in the Khmelnytskyi region.
