Aanother body was discovered under the rubble of a warehouse in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv following a Russian missile strike on December 29, according to Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klychko.
"The body of another victim was recovered from the debris of a warehouse in the Shevchenkivskyi district of the capital," he said.
According to Klychko, the search and rescue operation is ongoing.
"Prior to this, rescuers freed three injured individuals from the rubble. They were hospitalized by medical personnel," he added.
Kyiv shelling
On the morning of December 29, Russian forces launched a massive missile attack on Ukraine, with Kyiv being one of the targeted areas. A high-rise building caught fire, and a warehouse collapsed after the attack. Rescue services are currently operating at the scene. The number of casualties is reported to be 17 individuals.
