Russia carried out a combined strike on the Poltava region. After the attack on Kremenchuk, dangerous cluster munitions were discovered, the city’s mayor, Vitalii Maletskyi, reports.

Unexploded cluster munitions from Russian missiles have been found in the city. They pose a deadly danger - even accidental contact can trigger an explosion.

Residents are advised not to approach or touch suspicious objects. If any are found, immediately call 101 or 102.

Special attention should be paid to children, as the munitions are silvery in color, resembling balls, which may attract their attention.

Local authorities urge citizens to exercise caution and follow safety rules.

Attack on Poltava region

During the night, Russia carried out a massive strike on the Poltava region using strike drones, ballistic, and cruise missiles.

Hits were recorded in the Kremenchuk and Lubny districts, damaging administrative buildings of energy companies.

In the Lubny district, over 1,400 households and 119 businesses were left without electricity.

Russian troops launched cruise missiles at Kremenchuk from Tu-95MS bombers, and the city’s air defense systems were active during the attack.
