Italian musician Damiano David and American actress and singer Dove Cameron have tied the knot. The couple got married on September 24 in Montalcino, Italy, where they held a civil ceremony in the historic town hall, Vanity Fair Italia reports.
How Damiano David and Dove Cameron’s wedding went
The bride and groom arrived at the ceremony together in a vintage car. The musician got out of the car and opened the door for his fiancée.
Both opted for white outfits for the wedding. Damiano wore a suit without a tie, a white shirt with an open collar, and a silk cape.
Dove appeared in a white suit with a belt at the waist, a shirt, and a tie. She held a bouquet of white calla lilies in her hands.
The ceremony was officiated by Montalcino Mayor Silvio Franceschelli. Around 30 of the couple’s closest relatives and friends attended.
After getting married, the newlyweds left the town hall. Fans were waiting for them outside. Those present greeted the couple with applause and cheers. Damiano and Dove greeted the people and kissed in front of the crowd.
After the ceremony, they headed to Castiglion del Bosco, a resort in the Val d’Orcia valley near Montalcino.
Couple’s love story
Damiano and Dove met in 2022 at the MTV Video Music Awards. A year later, the couple was spotted together, and in February 2024, they made their first red carpet appearance as a couple.
In October 2025, the musician proposed to his girlfriend. Dove announced their engagement in early January 2026 by posting a photo of her engagement ring.
Shortly before the wedding, the couple had a romantic photoshoot and spoke about how they maintain their relationship. Above all, they value the opportunity to spend time together.
Damiano also revealed what his proposal was like. He proposed at home while they were packing their suitcases before a trip. At the time, Dove was wearing an oversized T-shirt, with wet hair and no makeup.
According to the artist, their relationship is already filled with special moments, so for him, true romance lies in ordinary things — cooking, doing household chores, and simply being together.
