Dairy plant in Ukraine's Kharkiv region halts operations after Russian attack

A food processing plant suffered extensive damage in a Russian strike on July 29, leaving it unable to continue operations, according to a Facebook post by the local news outlet Zorya + Visnyk Bohodukhivshchyny.
Bohodukhiv dairy plant ceases operations
Russia has continued striking the Bohodukhiv community, targeting:
- Infrastructure,
- Energy facilities,
- Critical enterprises.
Today, the Bohodukhiv dairy plant was hit again in an enemy drone attack.
According to the company's management, the production workshop was destroyed, and equipment sustained extensive damage.

Fortunately, no one was injured. However, the plant's director, Dmytro Murashkin, told the outlet that the damage this time is extensive and critical to production.
According to Murashkin, this is not the first attack on the facility. He said Russian forces have been systematically trying to halt or cripple its operations.
This time, the damage is so severe that there is currently no way to resume production. As a result, the plant has been forced to suspend operations indefinitely, the post said.
Earlier, retail chain METRO announced that its store in Zaporizhzhia will temporarily suspend operations from August 1, citing repeated disruptions caused by Russian attacks.
On July 28, mining company Ferrexpo also announced it was pausing seaborne pellet shipments after Russian attacks on ports in the Greater Odesa area.
