American actor Ryan O'Neal passed away at the age of 82. He was a Hollywood star of the 1970s.

"My father passed away today, and his loving team was by his side, supporting him just as he supported us," shared Patrick O'Neal, a sports commentator.

He noted that his father was always a hero to him.
"He worked hard, loved a good joke, and never boasted. I will miss you, Dad. I love you. We love you," summarized the actor's son.
The cause of death is not disclosed.
It is known that the star of the film Love Story had serious health problems.

In 2001, he was diagnosed with chronic leukemia, and 11 years later, he battled prostate cancer.
