Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković has been hospitalized due to a heart rhythm disorder. Doctors have performed the necessary procedure, HINA informs.

Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković was treated at the Zagreb Hospital Center on Friday evening for a mild, benign heart rhythm disorder.

It was reported that the prime minister received the necessary treatment. The procedure was successful, and doctors expect that he will be able to leave the medical facility on Saturday.

As a reminder, we previously reported that Pope Francis shortened his sermon due to breathing issues. He explained this was due to a bout of bronchitis.

On March 1, he was placed on a ventilator. The condition of Pope Francis' respiratory system "worsened after an isolated bronchospasm."
