Croatian Foreign Minister, Gordan Grlić Radman, arrived in Ukraine on Monday, July 31, and has already visited Hostomel in the Kyiv region, according to his Twitter.

"Started my visit to Ukraine in Hostomel. In partnership with UNICEF-Croatia, the Croatian government has procured 50 generators for schools and hospitals across the country, including the "Veselka" kindergarten," wrote Grlić Radman.

He emphasized the importance of ensuring the uninterrupted operation of key institutions for children and, in collaboration with the charitable organization Caritas, the Croatian government handed over equipment to the kindergarten.

Croatia's assistance to Ukraine

In March of 2023, Croatia decided to donate Mi-8 helicopters to Ukraine.

In the same month, Croatia began the transfer of 14 transport helicopters to Ukraine. Currently, twelve Mi-8MTV-1 helicopters and two Mi-8T have been withdrawn from the Croatian Armed Forces' inventory.

Back in November 2022, the Croatian Ministry of Defense approved the transfer of 14 Mi-8 and Mi-8 MTV helicopters to Ukraine.
