Council of Europe Secretary General hospitalized

On the night of August 30, Council of Europe Secretary General Alain Berset was hospitalized. His participation in next week’s events remains uncertain, according to the Council of Europe website.
"The Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Alain Berset, was hospitalised overnight from Friday to Saturday. His condition is not a cause for concern, but as a precaution, he will remain under observation for a few days," the publication noted, adding that Berset’s participation in the Bled Strategic Forum had to be canceled. Slovenian authorities were informed accordingly.
"At this stage, his attendance at the engagements scheduled for next week remains uncertain," the conclusion states.
The reason for the hospitalization has not been disclosed.
Other incidents
In March of this year, it was reported that King Charles III experienced “temporary side effects” following cancer treatment. He was taken to the hospital for observation and later returned to his residence in London.
