Cosmetologist shows massage that speeds up hair growth and 'lifts' facial skin

Before washing your hair, it is worth massaging the aponeurosis, as it positively affects hair growth and facial skin. As a result, the skin becomes more toned, and blood circulation is activated, according to the Instagram page of Ukrainian cosmetologist Olha Pozdnyakova.
What is known about aponeurosis massage
Aponeurosis massage (a technique targeting the fibrous layer located under the scalp between the skull bones and the skin) can be performed manually or with the help of massage tools.
This massage promotes lymphatic drainage and can help reduce swelling. It also relieves headaches if they are caused by restricted mobility of the aponeurosis.
According to experts, this type of massage stimulates blood circulation, which in turn promotes hair growth. With regular massage, hair grows faster, and some people even notice that their hair becomes thicker and fuller.
How to perform the massage
The massage, whether done manually or using a device, should last no more than 5–7 minutes per day.
For a manual massage, start by using your fingertips to vigorously massage the hair roots in circular motions, moving from the forehead to the crown and then down to the neck. You can also massage the neck for added relaxation.
The key is to be gentle to avoid damaging the skin or hair follicles. If you have any skin injuries, it’s best to skip the massage. Additionally, if you have high blood pressure or issues with cerebral circulation, consult a doctor before incorporating this massage into your beauty routine.
You can incorporate other techniques into your skincare routine:
- Perform gentle lymphatic drainage movements while washing your face to reduce puffiness.
- Use facial taping overnight - this is a great way to wake up with a refreshed, wrinkle-free look.
- Turn your cream application into a short massage to boost its effectiveness.
With consistent and thorough care, it is possible to reduce or even eliminate facial wrinkles.
