A Russian military serviceman shot and killed two fellow soldiers and fled from the unit located near the border with Ukraine, according to Russian media.
According to Russian media reports, a contract soldier opened fire on his comrades on the evening of July 11, then fled from the military base in the Belgorod region.
The Russians claim that a conflict arose between the deserter and other soldiers while they were drinking alcohol, and the contract soldier allegedly started shooting with a machine gun when they began mocking him.

In the Belgorod region, a capture plan has been announced. Russian media report that the military deserter has been sought for over ten hours. According to one version, the soldier may have crossed the border and entered Ukrainian territory.
