Construction of an underwater tunnel in Crimea
Recently, The Washington Post, citing intercepted emails, reported that Russians are exploring alternative ways to access the occupied Crimea. Specifically, Russian and Chinese businessmen associated with the government are allegedly discussing the construction of an underwater tunnel connecting Russia with the peninsula. Negotiations on this construction purportedly took place at the end of October.
However, the Ukrainian Navy cast doubt on Russia's ability to conceal such construction, expressing skepticism about the viability of such a plan.
