Massive attack on Ukraine

On the night of October 5, Russia carried out a massive attack on the territory of Ukraine. The Lviv region and the city of Lviv were among the hardest hit.

Around 04:30 local time, the city was struck by drones, followed later by cruise missiles launched from the Black Sea. In the morning, aeroballistic Kinzhal missiles launched from MiG-31 fighters targeted Lviv. This time, the enemy used almost all available types of weaponry.

In addition to western regions, Zaporizhzhia also came under fire. The massive attack caused power outages for tens of thousands of people, and parts of the Cherkasy region were also left without electricity due to damaged power lines.

That same night, the Ivano-Frankivsk region was also subjected to massive strikes on critical infrastructure facilities.
