Cluster shell explodes in Ukrainian city, as men attempt to dismantle it

An explosion occurred in a private sector in Mykolaiv. A cluster shell is believed to have detonated, according to the spokesperson of the Operational Command South Vladyslav Nazarov on Telegram.
The incident occurred on the morning of July 29 in a private sector on Nahrorna Street in one of the districts of Mykolaiv. The spokesperson emphasizes that the cause of the explosion was not shelling but a shell.
According to preliminary information, the owner of one of the private houses and four of his acquaintances decided to dismantle a cluster shell. As a result, the explosive device detonated.
The men suffered various degrees of shrapnel injuries and were hospitalized.
"I emphasize, do not touch any found hazardous objects, call the emergency line 102, so that experts can handle the situation," stated the spokesperson of the command.
