While technology continues to move forward, our biology often deteriorates. That is why returning to simple ancient rituals—namely coolness, darkness, and natural rhythms is becoming key to health and an active life in 2026.

Veronika Chekaliuk, a social communications scholar and gastronomy diplomacy expert, explained which ancient rituals of Cleopatra may be useful for women today

Cleopatra’s secret of eternal youth

Cleopatra knew that true power lies not only in beauty, but also in the ability to align the body’s biological rhythms through proper temperature, light, and recovery routines.

Egyptian culture had a very deep understanding of factors such as oils, daily routines, sleep, and light.

According to the expert, cool stone rooms and minimal nighttime lighting created a much more natural environment for the human body than what we have in modern apartments.

This highlights an interesting paradox of our time.

“Civilization may be rapidly advancing technologically, but at the same time moving backward biologically. We often lose connection with the body’s natural needs, replacing them with artificial conveniences that prevent us from fully resting,” said Veronika.

In reality, longevity is not about magical pills, but about the body’s ability to remain in a state of recovery for a long time rather than constant survival mode. When the body receives the right external signals, it understands that the surrounding world is safe and activates natural rejuvenation processes.

What to do for the youth right now

To achieve this effect today, no expensive or extreme methods are needed, only regular and very simple actions. The greatest results come from daily morning sunlight, a cool bedroom, and complete darkness during nighttime sleep.

The expert also emphasizes that it is critically important to minimize bright light in the evening and avoid eating right before bedtime.

Adding fermented foods to the diet, daily walking, and occasional short exposure to cold help the body stay toned and maintain a stable rhythm.

These habits create conditions in which the body can not just survive, but effectively recover every day.
