American actor and martial arts master Chuck Norris dies at 86, according to a statement from the star’s family.

Chuck Norris’ family confirmed his death in a public statement. They said the actor passed away suddenly on the morning of March 19.

In the statement, they called his loss “a great tragedy for our family” and referred to him as “our beloved Chuck Norris.”

The family emphasized that in his final moments, Norris was not alone and “was surrounded by his family and was at peace.”

They noted that, to the world, he was “a martial artist, actor, and a symbol of strength.”

For his closest loved ones, however, he remained “a devoted husband, loving father, and grandfather” and “the heart of our family.”

The family also thanked fans for their support, saying their love “meant so much to him.”

Separately, his family recalled the actor’s recent hospitalization and expressed gratitude for the “prayers and support.”

They also requested privacy, saying: “We kindly ask for privacy for our family at this time.”

Following the news of his death, Western media noted that shortly before, Chuck Norris had serious health issues.

While on the island of Kauaʻi in Hawaii, the 86-year-old actor suddenly required urgent medical care and was rushed to the hospital.

According to TMZ sources, before this, Norris had been feeling well, staying active, and continuing his training.

A friend of the actor said that shortly before the incident, he spoke with Norris by phone, and he was in good spirits.

The incident occurred just over a week after the actor’s birthday.

At that time, Chuck Norris shared a training video with fans, showing that even at 86, he remained in shape. In the caption, he joked that he wasn’t aging but just leveling up.
