In Moldova, Chisinau airport was evacuated twice during the evening. An unknown person reported an alleged bomb on the territory of the airport.

In the evening of April 21, Moldovan police received a report of bombs in Chisinau airport and on one of the airplanes. All passengers and staff were immediately evacuated from the airport, but the report turned out to be false.

An hour later, Moldovan police received another report of a bomb threat at the airport. Law enforcement officers again had to evacuate passengers and staff.

"Now the Chisinau airport is on alert. All specialized services of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are conducting on-site checks. Passengers and airport staff have been evacuated from the building," said Raisa Novitski, a spokesperson for the Moldovan Border Police.
