China hails Russia ties as strongest and most strategically crucial

Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Ma Zhaoxu called the partnership with Russia the most stable and the most important among the major powers, according to Global Times.
The Chinese Vice Foreign Ministry said that today's Chinese-Russian relations are the most stable, mature, and strategically important among all relations between major powers in the world.
Ma Zhaoxu responded to a question about China's view of the current state of relations with Russia and the further development of international relations.
According to him, it is in today's turbulent and changing world that the partnership between Beijing and Moscow takes on special significance.
Chinese President Xi Jinping has repeatedly emphasized that relations between major powers directly affect global strategic stability and that these powers themselves bear a special responsibility for the world order.
China, according to Ma Zhaoxu, seeks to build a system of international relations based on peaceful coexistence, overall stability, and balanced development.
The Chinese Deputy Foreign Minister also said that 80 years ago, the Chinese and Russian peoples made enormous sacrifices and contributed significantly to the creation of the post-war world order.
He stressed that both countries will continue to uphold the correct historical view of the events of World War II.
China and Russia
Earlier this week, Chinese President Xi Jinping announced plans to work with Russia to change the international order.
According to media reports, the Chinese authorities have launched a campaign reminding people that China and the former Soviet Union played a key role in both the Asian and European theaters of war during World War II.
Vladimir Putin will be the main foreign guest at a military parade in Beijing dedicated to Japan's surrender and the end of World War II.
From August 31 to September 1, Xi Jinping will host a summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), to which more than 20 world leaders have been invited.
