Child injured in Russian strike on Kharkiv

A child was injured in a Russian drone attack on Kharkiv this morning, according to updated information. The child is receiving medical assistance, according to Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov.
“As a result of debris from an enemy UAV falling in the Shevchenkivskyi district, a child was injured,” the mayor said in a post on his Telegram channel.
He also noted that, according to preliminary reports, the child suffered an acoustic barotrauma.
“All necessary medical assistance is being provided to the child,” Terekhov added.
Drone strike on Kharkiv on April 26
As reported earlier, explosions were heard in Kharkiv early in the morning. Local authorities confirmed a drone attack on the city.
It was also reported that enemy UAVs targeted the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kharkiv, with smoke observed at the site of impact.
Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, said that a UAV hit the roadway. At that time, there were no reports of casualties.
However, the city’s mayor later clarified that the impact occurred near a residential building in the Shevchenkivskyi district.
