Cheap and effective: Ukrainian forces show how they intercept Russia’s elite drones

Ukrainian troops continue to destroy enemy drones. This time, they managed to intercept Russian UAVs such as the Molniya and Zala, according to the Unmanned Systems Forces.
The video shows the interception of enemy reconnaissance drones by operators of the 413th Raid Battalion of the Unmanned Systems Forces in the Donetsk region.
The following enemy drones were destroyed:
- Molniya-2 – a fixed-wing FPV strike drone with a communication range of up to 40 km. Its estimated cost is $300.
- Zala Z-16 and Supercam S350 - operational-tactical reconnaissance UAVs with communication ranges of up to 70 km and 100 km, and a cost of $70,000 and $100,000, respectively;
- Orlan-10 - one of the main reconnaissance drones used by Russian forces, with a communication range of up to 120 km. It’s estimated to cost $90,000.
"Intercepting enemy drones is one of the key areas actively being developed by the Unmanned Systems Forces. In addition to reconnaissance drones, we also intercept strike UAVs like the Shahed-136, which Russian forces use to attack peaceful Ukrainian cities," the video caption reads.
Russia's losses in the war
Over the past day, the losses of the Russian army amounted to 1,240 personnel. Ukrainian soldiers also destroyed two tanks, 14 armored combat vehicles, 47 artillery systems, one multiple launch rocket system, three air defense systems, 82 operational and tactical unmanned aerial vehicles, and 126 vehicles.
