The sixth round of the group stage of UEFA Champions League 2025/26 concluded with a series of 18 matches played on November 25–26.

Arsenal continues perfect start

Londoners confidently beat Belgian side Club Brugge 3-0, securing their sixth win in six matches.

This victory puts Arsenal three points clear of closest rival Bayern Munich in the group standings.

Round highlights and surprises

Italian club Inter suffered their second consecutive defeat, losing 0-1 to Liverpool after a controversial penalty.

In the day’s central match, Manchester City defeated Real Madrid 2-1. After Rodrigo scored for Madrid, the English side responded before halftime with goals from Niko O’Riley and Erling Haaland, moving up to fourth place in the group.

French club PSG settled for a goalless draw with Atletico Madrid, with Ukrainian defender Illia Zabarnyi coming on as a substitute in the second half.

Benfica beats Napoli with Ukrainian players

The Portuguese team recorded their second consecutive Champions League win, defeating Italian champions Napoli 2-0. Richard Rios opened the scoring in the 20th minute, and Leandro Barreiro scored the second goal in the 49th minute with an assist from Rios.

Goalkeeper Anatolii Trubin played 97 minutes, saving two shots, while midfielder Heorhii Sudakov played 75 minutes, delivering one accurate cross and 15 successful passes out of 21.

The victory moves Benfica closer to the knockout stage zone; the club now sits 25th in the standings with six points.
