Canadian sanctions against Russia: Prime Minister announced new package
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced a new package of sanctions against 29 legal entities and many individuals from Russia during the Crimea Platform Summit.
"Today, Canada wants to announce new sanctions against 29 legal entities and a significant number of individuals from Russia," stated Trudeau.
According to him, the sanctions will also target the nuclear sector.
"Canada will continue to stand with Ukraine as long as it is needed," he emphasized.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on the second day of the NATO summit in Vilnius.
A month ago, Canada had manufactured all 200 Senator armored vehicles it had previously pledged to transfer to Ukraine. Over 120 of them have already been delivered to Ukraine.
Additionally, the Canadian government previously announced that it would transfer the AN-124 transport aircraft confiscated from Russia to Ukraine. The transfer process has already begun.
