Bulgarian Navy neutralizes several drones off Black Sea coast

Bulgaria’s Navy neutralized several drones found in the Black Sea and along the coast near Varna within a short period of time. Some of the drones were detonated, according to Bulgaria’s Ministry of Defense.
A specialized team from the Varna Naval Base was tasked with inspecting and identifying a drone found on the seashore in the Kabakum area near Varna. During the inspection, the team determined that the device contained no explosives and transported it to the naval base.
Another Navy team was tasked with inspecting an object found in the Black Sea waters near the city of Pomorie. The military identified it as a drone and destroyed it at sea, strictly following safety procedures.

Servicemen from the Varna base also inspected and identified a drone found in the Black Sea near the Pasha Dere area south of Varna. The object was examined and detonated at sea.

Shortly before these discoveries, a specialized team from the Varna base was tasked with inspecting a drone spotted in the Black Sea near the Kamchia resort.
After examination, it was determined to be a wing from a military drone that had washed ashore, with no ammunition attached. It posed no danger and was transported to the naval base.
At the end of July, Bulgaria’s Navy discovered an unidentified drone in the Black Sea near the country’s coast. Visually, it resembled a Russian Gerbera drone, although its origin was not officially confirmed.
