British intelligence: Russian daily losses in February reach war-time peak
Average daily losses of the Russian army in February 2024 were the highest since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, according to the Ministry of Defence of Britain.
As noted by intelligence, the average daily number of losses for Russia increased in February, referring to killed and wounded soldiers.
"The average daily number of Russian casualties (killed and wounded) in Ukraine throughout February 2024 was the highest rate it has been, since the start of the war, at 983 per day," the summary states.
In Britain, it is believed that Russia has incurred around 355,000 military casualties in the war against Ukraine, including killed and wounded.
"The increase in the daily average almost certainly reflects Russia's commitment to mass and attritional warfare. Although costly in terms of human lives, the resulting effect has increased the pressure on Ukraine's positions across the frontline," intelligence adds.
Losses of the Russian army
It is worth noting that the Russian regime conceals the losses of its army in the aggressive war against Ukraine. However, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russia has already lost over 416,000 soldiers on the front lines since the start of the full-scale war.
Just in the last day, our defenders eliminated 1,160 Russians and destroyed dozens of enemy vehicles.
