Breakthrough in war with Russia is close - Ukraine's intel chief
There has not yet been a breakthrough in the Russian-Ukrainian war. However, it is close at hand, states Kyrylo Budanov, head of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine.
In particular, Budanov was reminded of his words when he compared the war to football in an interview with Forbes, saying that “now the score is 1-1 and the 70th minute of the match is underway.” In response, the head of the DIU noted that we are still in the "70th minute" of the game, and there has been no breakthrough. However, resources are not infinite.
"I'm getting into the plot here. We are still there (in the 70th minute of the match - ed.). Thank God, there was no turn in the direction of the enemy. There is no turnaround yet, but it's close. You understand correctly. It can't go on like this forever, the resources are not infinite, neither ours nor theirs,” Budanov said.
He also added that Russia is planning major replacements in the power unit in the next two months, and we will see it soon.
“As for the Russian side, I can tell you that in the next two months, they are planning major replacements in the power unit. We'll see how they will go, we won't have to wait long,” said the head of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine.
Earlier today, Budanov said that Ukrainian drones could hit military targets in Russia at a distance of up to 1800 km. In this regard, the infrastructure working for Russia's war will suffer losses.
