This does not mean that beverages with these ingredients will quickly transform your health, but consistent and balanced consumption of these nutrients can support a healthy gut microbiome. Such ingredients also reduce inflammation, promote the growth of beneficial bacteria, improve digestion, and strengthen immunity.

Kefir

According to nutritionist Tejal Parekh, kefir contains more probiotics, which increase the diversity of gut bacteria, as well as provide calcium and protein for overall health.

Since kefir also has energy-boosting properties, it is best consumed in the morning instead of your daily protein shake or a cup of coffee.

Kombucha
