On Saturday evening, November 22, the Russian-occupied Donetsk region faced another blackout after a new wave of unidentified drone attacks, report local Telegram channels.

The drone strike began shortly after 7:20 PM local time, with explosions reported in occupied Shakhtarsk. Within an hour, channels reported air defenses activating in Donetsk and Makiivka, along with a drone attack on Zuhres.

At the same time, several occupied cities across the Donetsk region lost power. Channels said drones struck the Zuivska thermal power plant and a substation in Shakhtarsk.

As of 9:05 PM, explosions were reported in Shakhtarsk, Zuhres, Dokuchaievsk, and Torez.

Unidentified drones also struck targets inside Russia. Local residents filmed flashes and fires near the Krasnodar thermal power plant and near the Stavrolen petrochemical plant in Budyonnovsk, Stavropol region.

Stavrolen produces components for Russian military equipment, including parts for drones.
