Billboard's most prominent pop star of 21st century named
American singer, music producer, and record holder for the most Grammy awards, Beyoncé, topped the list of the greatest pop performers of the 21st century, according to Billboard.
The magazine underlines that Beyoncé is the most decorated performer, having received a record 32 Grammys and 27 Billboard Music Awards.

The 35-year-old singer Taylor Swift ranked second.
"While Taylor Swift is the century's biggest pop star by the numbers, Beyoncé tops our staff-chosen editorial list based on her full 25 years of influence, impact, evolution," the article states.

The magazine also noted that almost no artist can compare to Beyoncé in terms of performance abilities, critical recognition, industry influence, and commercial success.
The third place went to singer Rihanna. The following positions went to Drake, Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, Kanye West, Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, and Adele.
Additionally, Billboard compiled a ranking of the top 25 pop artists of the last 25 years. The list includes performers who have made significant contributions to pop music and became symbols of its greatness at the turn of the millennium.
