Biden says he's one who 'shut Putin down'
US President Joe Biden said that he was the one making a stand against Russian leader Vladimir Putin, according to the ABC.
This is how he answered a journalist's question about whether he would be able to work effectively over the next four years.
"Everything I do. You know, not only am I campaigning, but I'm running the world... George, I'm the guy that put NATO together, the future. No one thought I could expand it. I'm the guy that shut Putin down," Biden said.
When asked by the host whether he would like to undergo an independent medical examination, which would include neurological cognitive tests, the US president replied that he takes a cognitive test "every day."
According to Bloomberg, Joe Biden is closing the gap with US presidential candidate Donald Trump in key states necessary to win the election. Thus, Trump is supported by 47% of Americans, while Biden is supported by 45%, despite his defeat in the debate.
Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported that the White House is working on organizing a meeting between Joe Biden and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. It may take place in the near future as part of the NATO summit in Washington.
