Best FIFA Football Awards 2025 - Who competes for main titles

On December 16, the capital of Qatar, Doha, will host the annual The Best FIFA Football Awards ceremony, during which the International Federation of Association Football will determine the best representatives of world football based on the results of 2025.

What is known about the award
The Best FIFA Football Awards is an annual prize presented since 2016 for individual achievements in football. The winners are determined by voting among national team coaches and captains, journalists, as well as fans from around the world.
Who is competing for the main titles
There are 11 nominees for the title of Best Men’s Player of 2025. Four of them represent the Champions League winners, Paris Saint-Germain, while three come from Barcelona.

In addition, FIFA will name the Women’s Player of the Year, the Men’s and Women’s Goalkeepers of the Year, the Women’s Coach of the Year, the winner of the Puskás Award for the most beautiful goal, and other honors. The Men’s and Women’s World XI teams of the year will also be announced.
The Best FIFA Football Awards 2025 ceremony will begin at 8:00 p.m. (Kyiv time).
