The best beach in the world for 2025 has been recognized as Elafonissi Beach, located on the Greek island of Crete.
This beach, known for its pink sand and warm, crystal-clear waters, is an ideal place to visit in May and September when it offers peace and tranquility before and after the peak summer tourist rush.
Interestingly, Elafonissi Beach has returned to the ranking for the first time since 2021.
"Crete is the largest Greek island, also known as the cradle of the ancient Minoan civilization, making it an ideal place to explore ancient ruins and historical landmarks in addition to its beautiful beaches," emphasized Hillary Fisher-Groban, Senior Director at Tripadvisor.

The second place in the ranking went to Banana Beach in Phuket (Thailand). This location is perfect for boat rides and parasailing, and divers and snorkeling enthusiasts will find colorful corals and fish here.

Eagle Beach in Oranjestad, Aruba, takes the third spot due to its white sand, calm waters, and a variety of water activities.

Siesta Beach on Siesta Key in Florida, US, takes fourth place in the global ranking, with its powdery soft sand and abundance of shells making it especially attractive.
