BAFTA award winners include the film Rock, Paper, Scissors by Franz Biem, which is dedicated to the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. The main role in the film was played by Ukrainian actor Oleksandr Rudynskyi.

The film won in the Best British Short Film category.

This is not the first time that films about Ukraine have been recognized at the BAFTAs. In 2024, the award in the Best Documentary category went to 20 Days in Mariupol by Ukrainian director Mstyslav Chernov.
