Austrian Foreign Minister Beate Meinl-Reisinger will arrive in Kyiv on Friday to attend a meeting with business representatives and humanitarian organizations, according to MeinBezirk.

During her visit, she will meet with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha and visit the Ohmatdyt children's hospital, which was damaged in a missile strike last year.

This is her second foreign trip since taking office. Earlier, she reaffirmed Austria’s support for Ukraine’s independence and territorial integrity.

The visit will also bring together representatives of business and humanitarian organizations at the Austrian Embassy in Kyiv.

In an interview with the Austrian agency APA, Meinl-Reisinger emphasized that Ukraine’s security cannot be negotiated without the participation of its citizens and that Europe’s future depends on decisive and confident actions from the international community.

She also highlighted the worsening geopolitical situation, citing the suspension of US military aid and changes in international intelligence. According to her, achieving a just and lasting peace remains a key priority.

The United States has paused military aid to Ukraine for review, with future funding currently under discussion.
