Australia hints at new Bushmaster armored vehicle delivery to Ukraine

Australia takes pride in acknowledging the Bushmaster armored vehicles as part of Ukraine's crucial military aid. Even more armored vehicles are already on the way, according to the Australian Ambassador to Ukraine Bruce Edwards.
"Little can wish a close friend across the seas a Merry Christmas better than saving lives," he writes.
He notes that Australia is proud to recognize the Bushmaster among key military aid provided to Ukraine.
"Even more of them are already on the way! Unpack them before December 25th!" hints the ambassador regarding the new military shipment.
The Bushmaster is an MRAP produced by Thales Australia, capable of transporting 9 soldiers. It provides protection against small arms fire and mine blasts (6 kg of TNT equivalent), meeting the STANAG4569 standard.
Bushmaster for Ukraine
As early as April of last year, Australia transferred 20 Bushmaster armored vehicles to Ukraine, totaling $38 million. The decision's approval and the commencement of the transfer took just one day.
By October 2022, it was already known that Australia had sent an additional 30 Bushmaster armored vehicles to Ukraine.
