As a result of the strike on Yevpatoria, the Russian air defense system Triumph could have been destroyed. Satellite images depicting the aftermath of the nighttime operation have surfaced on the web, Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty reports.

Radio Liberty has released high-resolution satellite images taken earlier this morning.

These images confirm the strike on Russian air defense positions, specifically the S-400 system, near Yevpatoria on the night of September 14.

Yevpatoria attack

Explosions were reported in Yevpatoria overnight. Sources within Ukraine's Security Service (SSU) have informed RBC-Ukraine that a unique special operation was carried out by Ukrainian military counterintelligence and the Ukrainian Navy.

Using drones and missiles, Ukrainian forces successfully eliminated the Russian S-400 air defense system Triumph, valued at 1.2 billion dollars, near Yevpatoria.

Subsequently, the Ukrainian Armed Forces confirmed the attack, but Russian casualties have not been disclosed.
