Overnight, Russian forces shelled the Korabel district of Kherson. This time, the strikes hit a private house and commercial premises, according to Yaroslav Shanko, head of the Kherson City Military Administration, and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

In the early hours of September 27, Kherson came under Russian artillery fire. The strikes sparked fires. A private house was completely destroyed by fire, the roof of office premises in a store burned down, as well as garages, one of which contained a car.

No civilian casualties were reported.

Situation in Kherson

On September 26, Russia dropped bombs on Kherson. As a result of the attack, 70 private houses and one apartment building were damaged. One of the strikes hit a minibus, which was completely destroyed.

Due to Russian aggression, two people were killed and another eight were injured.

Earlier, Defense Express reported that Russian forces had begun using North Korean-made cluster munitions to shell Kherson.

According to Colonel Vladyslav Voloshyn, spokesperson for Ukraine’s Southern Defense Forces, Russian troops are massing and regrouping on the eastern (left) bank of the Kherson region, between the Konka River, the occupied town of Oleshky, and the Antonivsky road bridge (all east of Kherson), in preparation for an offensive toward the Antonivsky bridge.

He added that Russian forces are reinforcing their positions on the eastern bank of the Kherson region.
