Armed Forces audit, arms and ammunition supply: Zelenskyy chairs daily meeting
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy chaired his daily meeting, discussing the audit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, arms and ammunition supplies, according to the head of state.
"I received the latest information about the rescue operation in Odesa. The clearing of rubble is completed. Now it is important for people to receive all the necessary assistance as soon as possible, including new housing instead of the lost one. I have instructed the head of the regional state administration to take control of this," said Zelenskyy.
He announced that the elimination of the consequences of the shelling of Kurakhove, where Russian occupiers hit a residential quarter with a guided bomb, is ongoing.
"Fortunately, there are no casualties, but many wounded. People are also being provided with all the necessary assistance," he said.
During the meeting, the president heard from Minister Rustem Umerov and representatives of the Ministry of Defense about the actual receipts of weapons and ammunition, as well as planned receipts for March.
"The Commander-in-Chief reported on the operational situation on the main fronts, the audit of the Armed Forces, rotation of brigades, and personnel decisions within their framework. Briefings from intelligence, the Security Service, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs are mandatory," he said.
Zelenskyy added that the grain corridor continues to demonstrate good dynamics.
"We are approaching the mark of 30 million tons of cargo, of which over 8 million tons were exported in February alone. We continue to develop alternative routes: via the Danube and through Moldova," he said.
Military audit
Recently, the leader of the Servant of the People faction in the Parliament, Davyd Arakhamia, said that the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, is conducting an audit of the Defense Forces.
The deputy noted that during the audit, entire units of Ukrainian military personnel were found who, during two years of full-scale war, "have never been at the front."
