Apple to show off its own AI at upcoming presentation
Apple may introduce new artificial intelligence features as early as next month. The project is said to have advantages over its competitors, report Reuters and 9TO5Mac.
According to the newspaper, Apple is expected to unveil new AI features at its annual software conference next month.
It is likely to update its product line with AI-ready chips. The conference may also feature such developments as:
- chatbot
- Apple Music smart playlists,
- Safari browser assistant for summarizing articles.
At the same time, Apple CEO Tim Cook announced Apple's future generative artificial intelligence and said that the company has advantages over its competitors.
He mentioned the neural engine of Apple Silicon chips and emphasized the company's focus on privacy.
"We believe in the transformative power and promise of AI, and we believe we have advantages that will differentiate us in this new era, including Apple’s unique combination of seamless hardware, software, and services integration, groundbreaking Apple Silicon with our industry-leading neural engines, and our unwavering focus on privacy, which underpins everything we create," Cook added.
According to the newspaper, Apple is working on introducing a series of AI-based features to its operating systems later this year.
