Apple has introduced an updated MacBook Air with a new M4 chip, available in 13-inch and 15-inch versions, reports the official press center Apple Newsroom.
New color and improved performance with M4 chip
MacBook Air has a brand new color - sky blue - that creates a dynamic gradient when light is reflected. It complements such colors as midnight, starlight, and silver. All MacBook Air colors, including sky blue, come with a MagSafe cable to match the device.

With the M4 chip, MacBook Air is significantly faster for everyday tasks and more demanding operations, such as photo and video editing. M4 includes a powerful 10-core processor and up to 10-core GPU, as well as support for up to 32 GB of unified storage.
The new MacBook Air is twice as fast as the M1 chip and up to 23 times faster than the fastest Intel devices. The battery life reaches 18 hours, which is six hours longer than the Intel versions.

Features powered by Apple Intelligence
MacBook Air with M4 brings new creativity and productivity capabilities, including tools for creating emojis, enhancing text with Writing Tools, and integration with ChatGPT. Siri has also been significantly improved, allowing you to easily switch between voice and text queries.

Camera for perfect video calls
A new enhancement is the 12-megapixel Center Stage camera with improved video quality that automatically centers the user in the frame. This is especially useful for FaceTime video calls or important meetings, and it also supports Desk View to show the user and their desktop at the same time.

Advanced display support
The MacBook Air now supports up to two 6K external displays in addition to the built-in Liquid Retina display, making it even more convenient for professionals and students to work with content.

Apple continues to make progress toward its Apple 2030 goal of delivering a carbon-neutral product. The MacBook Air contains more than 55 percent recycled materials, including recycled aluminum, rare earth elements, and lithium, making it a more environmentally friendly product.
