Victims among journalists
It's worth reminding that since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, many Ukrainian journalists have stood up in defense of Ukraine. Unfortunately, there have been losses among the media workers, not only among Ukrainians but also among foreigners.
According to recent data, from 2014 to 2024, Russians have killed 83 representatives of the media in Ukraine. Since the start of the full-scale war, at least 77 journalists have lost their lives.
In January 2024, a journalist from Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty came under shelling in southern Ukraine.
