Andrii Matiukha and Favbet Foundation initiated an IT workshop for teenagers

Andrii Matiukha and Favbet Foundation continue to develop educational initiatives for teenagers within the framework of the charitable program IT Kids. A career guidance workshop called "Ticket to IT" was held in Kyiv, where participants explored current professions in the digital industry and gained basic practical skills.
The teenagers studied 12 areas: programming, web and graphic design, UI/UX, video editing, marketing, testing, robotics, business analytics, cybersecurity, Data Science, and product management. Each participant worked in mini-groups, which allowed them to gain their first experience in specific roles such as developer, designer, marketer, or analyst.
In addition to working with mentors, part of the workshop was led by students of GoFriends IT Academy, who shared their personal experience of starting out in the digital field. The format of the event was focused on hands-on learning and real-life cases.
Thanks to the support provided by Favbet Foundation, all participants gained access to free training at GoFriends IT Academy and had the opportunity to join a summer IT camp to continue their practical development.
Favbet Foundation emphasizes the creation of an environment where young people not only become familiar with new professions but also realize that these opportunities are already within reach.
"For us, it's important to create a space where children can not only learn about new professions but also feel that these opportunities are accessible right now," notes Andrii Matiukha.
As the foundation highlights, the goal of these initiatives is to lay the groundwork for the future professional growth of teenagers.
