Albania plans to open its embassy in Kyiv soon. This will strengthen relations between the countries, says the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba.

According to the minister, he greatly appreciates this decision, which will significantly boost bilateral ties.

Kuleba said that during his first visit to Albania, he met with his colleague Igli Hasani.

"Albania plans to open its embassy in Kyiv soon. I greatly appreciate this decision, which will significantly boost our bilateral ties," added the Ukrainian Foreign Minister.

Zelenskyy's visit to Albania

On February 28, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived for a visit to Albania.

The head of state has already met with the prime minister of Albania, Edi Rama. During the meeting, Zelenskyy and Rama signed an agreement on friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

The Ukraine – South East Europe summit is also taking place in Albania.
