Air target from Belarus

“An air target (not high-speed) on the border of the Kyiv and Zhytomyr regions, crossed the state border from the territory of Belarus, heading south,” the Air Force reports.

Meanwhile, the monitoring channel Belarussian Hajun says that, according to preliminary data, it is a Yak-130 combat training aircraft of the Belarusian Air Force. The target crossed the Belarusian-Ukrainian border at 2:25 p.m.

Yak-130

The Yak-130 is a combat training aircraft designed for pilot training and combat missions. Created by the MiG company, it first flew in 1996. The Yak-130 is designed to replace older aircraft such as the L-39 and has advanced avionics, modern navigation systems, and the ability to perform combat missions in various conditions.

The aircraft can be used for both pilot training and combat missions, including support for ground forces. Due to its design and electronics, the Yak-130 is also capable of serving as a demonstrator aircraft for testing new technologies and weapons.

Russian massive shelling

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the Russian military has been regularly conducting massive shelling of Ukrainian territory. Since the beginning of this year, the Russian military has already conducted nine major attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure.

Russians use Shahed drones almost every night. On the night of September 24, they launched an Iskander missile, two Kh-59/69s, one of an unspecified type, and 81 UAVs.

As a result of the air defense operation, 66 of these drones were destroyed.
