Air forces destroyed nearly 20 Shahed drones around Kyiv at night
On the night of September 16, air defense forces successfully intercepted nearly twenty Russian drones in the airspace around Kyiv. Preliminary reports indicate that there were no casualties or damage in the capital, according to the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.
According to the Kyiv Regional Military Administration (KRMA), the enemy once again used strike drones, likely similar to the Shahed models. However, unlike recent attacks, this one was massed, the administration noted.
The air raid alert in the capital lasted about 3.5 hours, starting around 2 a.m. Russian drones approached Kyiv from various directions and in different groups.
