Russians strike energy facilities
As a reminder, multiple enemy attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure have left consumers without power in several regions. The most severe situation remains in Sumy and Chernihiv regions.
In particular, following Russia’s massive strikes on critical infrastructure, Chernihivoblenergo reported that the region’s energy system remains in a critical state. As a result, strict power outage schedules have been in effect in the region since October 1.
Overnight on October 4, the Russian army again attacked the energy system in Chernihiv region, damaging several key electricity facilities. Energy workers have already begun restoration efforts.
