The main suspect in the case is his stepson, Michael Gladhill, who reportedly contacted law enforcement himself and admitted to the crime, according to Los Angeles Times.

According to media reports, 44-year-old Michael Gladhill, the son of Handy’s wife, lived with the couple. After the tragedy, he called the police himself and later surrendered voluntarily. During his statement to law enforcement, he reportedly said that he had “killed a man of sin.”
