90 signatures so far: Micronesia joins peace summit's final communiqué
Peace summit communiqué now has 90 signatures, including the Federated States of Micronesia, according to the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs.
According to the department, the Federated States of Micronesia joined the peace summit communiqué on Friday, June 28.
The Federated States of Micronesia, sometimes just called Micronesia, is an island nation in Oceania, located on the Caroline Islands, north of New Guinea. Micronesia consists of more than 600 islands scattered over a vast area in the Pacific Ocean.

On June 15-16, Switzerland became the focal point for global leaders, where the significant Global Peace Summit, dedicated to resolving the war in Ukraine, took place. The summit brought together over 100 delegations from various countries and organizations, united by a common goal – finding a peaceful solution to end the confrontation.
After the two-day event, the summit participants adopted a final communiqué.
Recently, the head of Ukraine's President's Office, Andrii Yermak, said that Ukraine is looking forward to holding a second peace summit in Saudi Arabia by the end of the year.
