Some stars have such strange, and at times repulsive, habits that working with them becomes a real ordeal for their colleagues. Here are the actors who are legendary not for their acting, but for their behavior on set.
Dwayne Johnson
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is a busy man. Filming, WWE appearances — his schedule is packed. On the set of the movie "Red Notice" in 2024, rumors emerged that Johnson not only constantly showed up late but also had a strange habit — urinating into water bottles instead of going to the restroom. What’s more, he would hand the bottles to assistants to dispose of them. The actor confirmed this fact, although he denied frequent lateness.

Robert Pattinson
Pattinson is known not just for playing a vampire but also for his questionable personal hygiene. According to his "Twilight" co-stars, the actor never showered, which drove the team crazy. Pattinson himself admitted that he could go weeks without washing his hair, though later he said that after working with Dior, he started moisturizing his skin — a major life change.

Johnny Galecki
Kunal Nayyar, Johnny Galecki’s co-star on "The Big Bang Theory", revealed that Galecki spent 12 years sticking chewing gum to a wall on set. The result — a wall covered with 3,000 pieces of gum. Besides the fact itself, a logical question arises: wasn’t anyone cleaning it?

Brad Pitt
Pitt avoided showers for years, preferring baby wipes instead. Actor Eli Roth recalls Pitt advising him to wipe down with a baby wipe if there’s no time for a shower. According to former roommate Jason Priestley, Pitt even took part in competitions to see who could go the longest without washing. Today, under the influence of his partner Ines de Ramon, Pitt has finally returned to hygiene.

Will Smith
In the memoirs of "Men in Black" director Barry Sonnenfeld, there’s an incident where Smith passed gas in a closed vehicle during a shoot with Tommy Lee Jones. The result — Jones was practically suffocating. A comical moment that could’ve easily made it into the film itself.

Bradley Cooper
Cooper admitted that early in his career, he chewed tobacco, even during filming. In one scene from "He's Just Not That Into You", he spat out tobacco juice, with saliva dangling from his mouth. It was disgusting, the actor recalls, acknowledging that he didn’t look "masculine" in that moment.

Jennifer Lawrence
Appearing on "The Graham Norton Show", Jennifer Lawrence confessed she didn’t care much about fresh breath when kissing her "Hunger Games" co-stars Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson.
I would eat mustard and tuna — like, who cares? joked the actress.

Hemsworth confirmed that Lawrence would gorge on garlic or fish and then go in for the kiss.
She later changed her approach — before a scene with Chris Pratt in "Passengers", she did drink a minty beverage. Though the fishy scandal seems to have stuck with her for good.
