The hottest fighting is taking place in the Pokrovsk sector of the frontline. In one village, fighting occurs in three locations at once, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The enemy does not stop shelling settlements in the Chernihiv and Sumy regions from the territory of Russia. Today, Russian artillery fired at 10 localities.

So far, Russians have made one attempt to advance near the village of Starytsia in the Kharkiv sector. They continue to bombard border settlements in the north of the Kharkiv region.

The enemy launched attacks in the areas of Druzhelyubivka and Nevske in the Kupiansk sector. The number of Russian assault attempts increased to four.

Fighting continues near Rozdolivka and Vyimka in the Siversk sector. The total number of enemy attacks today is six.

In the Pokrovsk sector, the aggressor maintains a high intensity of attacks and has already tried to improve the tactical situation 13 times, 7 of which have already been repelled by Ukrainian troops. The situation is the hottest in the area of Sokil village in the Donetsk region, where fighting is ongoing in three locations.

In the Kurakhove sector, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 5 enemy attacks over the last day. One combat clash continues in the vicinity of Krasnohorivka, where the Russian forces are trying to force Ukrainian units out of their positions.

The enemy made two attacks in the Vremivka sector today and continues to try to advance towards Staromaiorske. The attacks were repelled.

Russian losses

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russia has already lost more than 509 thousand soldiers and thousands of pieces of military equipment. On the last day alone, the Ukrainian military killed 1,080 Russians.

According to the General Staff, yesterday, June 1, Russians became more active in the Kurakhove direction, resulting in significant losses - 200 killed and wounded per day.
