After a long hiatus, the popular comedy franchise “21 Jump Street” may receive a sequel. Hollywood is actively working on the third installment of the series, with plans to bring back the main stars of the previous films. At the same time, the film will be handled by the team that was behind its original success, according to Variety.

This time, the director’s chair will be taken by Rodney Rothman, who previously worked on the animated hit “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.” He also co-wrote the script together with Megan Mallow and Jonah Hill.
